The CUB among the 50 best universities in the world for innovation
Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) is among the top 50 universities in the World Real Impact Universities (WURI) ranking.
In the 2022 WURI rankings, the Canadian University of Bangladesh ranked 44th in the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” category for innovation and impact from the Department of Navigation and Marine Science, according to a press release issued on Sunday. .
Overall, the university ranks between 201 and 300 among all universities in the world.
In this project, the technique of applying fourth-generation artificial intelligence in maritime transport has been chosen. An algorithm has been developed, which allows ships to navigate safely through waterways without human intervention. He is able to ensure the safety of waterways as well as monitor risks or determine what to do in an emergency.
