Salary package: $118,003 – $123,640 per year plus 17% superannuation

ACCESS is a software suite that is at the heart of Australia’s remarkable climate and weather modeling capability. The research community has secured substantial support from the Australian government and universities to transform ACCESS into a well-managed, high-quality platform supporting Australian research, positioning Australia internationally in the global climate modeling community and time.

The Team Leader will oversee the development of the ACCESS release management infrastructure, manage the team of 5 software engineers, assume a leadership role which will include mentoring and guiding more junior staff, and contributing more largely to the strategic planning of ACCESS NRI’s future infrastructure. and the coupled modeling environment.
