Baystate Health has appointed Frank J. Cracolici as Interim President of Baystate Medical Center and Joanne miller as interim head nurse of the medical center.

Cracolici has extensive experience in major hospitals and most recently served as a senior advisor to the CEO of Morton Hospital, a member facility of the Steward Health Care System, a $ 7 billion system comprised of 36 hospitals and over 40,000 employees. . He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 125-bed hospital in Taunton. Most recently, Miller served as Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Carson Tahoe Health in Nevada and Interim CEO and Chief Nursing Officer at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida. She served as the Chief Nurse and Vice President of Patient Care Services at Johns Hopkins Medicine-Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC

Miller holds a Doctorate in Executive Nursing Practice from Drexel University, a Masters of Nursing Administration from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary College. She is a member of the Malcom Baldridge management.

Westfield Bank announced the promotion of Steve Lavel, from Ludlow to real estate agent.

Lavell is responsible for overseeing the bank’s maintenance, landscaping and cleaning staff. He oversees the maintenance and repairs of all bank owned properties and offsite ATMs. He is the bank’s chief purchasing agent and is the direct contact for contractors, vendors and new builds, renovations and moves.
