JNCASR Bengaluru Graduate Research Internship Program: Apply by September 20

The Jawaharlal Nehru Center for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, has called for applications for the Graduate Research Internship Program (GRIP).

The program is designed for brilliant, BE / B.Tech. or Master of Science or MBBS students to complete their final year research project at JNCASR. The project work to be carried out should be part of the degree requirements. The duration of the project work will be one semester or extended duration of up to 1 year depending on the degree requirement.

The duration of the internship will be six months to one year depending on the requirements of the degree and the project. The program is launched in September.

Those who have just started or are in transition to the last year of BE / B.Tech. or Masters in Science, Integrated M.Sc, BS-MS or MBBS can apply.

Students will be asked to write down the codes for three projects that match their interests. For a given project, a student will be selected from among all the applications corresponding to a given project. The final selection will be based on the academic merit of the student (depending on the project) and two letters of reference the model of which can be downloaded from https://www.jncasr.ac.in/ (Academic> Short Term Programs scholarships)

Students selected for the program will be required to submit an undertaking (as part of the application) stating that none of the research conducted at JNCASR will be independently published or patented and that the faculty member hosting this specific project at JNCASR will be consulted. regarding the search result.

Selected students, in coordination with the respective faculty members, will have the opportunity to choose the mode of the project (online / offline) and the start and end dates. Rs. 5,000 / – will be charged as an internship fee. Students are advised to take out an appropriate medical insurance policy to cover unforeseen circumstances.
