Catherine F. Davidson 1925-2016 Catherine F. "Katie" Davidson, 90, of St. Joseph, died Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Abbey Woods facil- ity. She was born September 7, 1925, to Philip Muse Cole and Alice May (Scurbeck) Cole.

Catherine married Oran Ray Davidson on March 3, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas. Catherine is a member of AREME Chapter OES and a member of the Daughters of the Nile EL MAAT 120 and attended Huffman United Methodist Church. She was known as Katie when she began her work- ing career as Rosie the Riv- eter. She worked at the bomber plant during World War II; because of her size, they put her riveting the wing. She then spent five years working on the crys- tal line for Midland Inter- national for a big salary of $3.00 an hour.

She took a job with the Sunshine Bis- cuit Company on a cookie line for $4.80. When she had enough seniority to bid on jobs, she bid for a fork lift job loading and unloading product from the ware- house to the trucks. The su- pervisors said she was too small to do the job. Howev- er, Katie showed them that little can be mighty. Katie retired from Sunshine Bis- cuit with 30 years of serv- ice with 20 of those years proving that this little lady "CAN" do a man's job at $18.00 an hour.

After retire- ment, she cared for her husband for four years un- til his death November 10, 1992. She then returned to work for 7-11 in the deli de- partment for seven years. In 2000, Katie moved to St. Joseph permanently with her daughter, Gina Fox. Katie then wasn't tired enough so she worked in the financial department of Diamond Health Care for six years, then she de- cided it was time to try re- tirement once again.

Katie was a very kind and generous person and never met a stranger. Katie was passionate about everything she did and nev- er shirked her responsibil- ity. Preceded in death by: husband; son-in-law, Low- ell Fox; one brother, Paul Cole; two sisters, Phyllis Slane and Sarah Bushard; and great-great-grandson, Gabriel Martinez. McCarty 1955-2016 SAVANNAH, Mo. Deborah (Debbie) Ann Fad- den McCarty, Savannah, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at her home. Debbie was born on June 11, 1955, in Kenora, Ontario Canada, to Phyllis (Dickey) and Kenneth Fadden. Debbie was proceeded in death by: her father and mother; along with her grandparents, Ethel and Raymond Dickey, Annie and William Fadden; and niece, Alicia Fadden. Debbie graduated in 1973 from Benton High School and later that year married Phillip Krull, to whom three sons, Jr.

Krull, Chad Krull and Craig Krull. In 1986, she married Bri- an McCarty and they would have celebrated 30 years of marriage in July. Debbie is survived by: her husband; three sons; siblings, Stanley (Vickie) Fadden, Jamie Wiggington, Janice (Scott) Chance; Brenda Panigot, Deanna (Hughes) and Alonzo West- on; along with 11 grand- children; and 17 nieces and nephews; along with many cousins in United States and Canada. On October 21, 1978, he married Linda Dorrel. To- gether they had two daugh- ters, Tawni and Megan. Rick founded and ran his own painting company, MTL Painting, for over 20 years. He derived the name of his company from his wife, Linda and daughters. Recently, he worked as a su- pervisor for Integrated Air- line Services, Inc.

Rick was a member of the First Christian Church of Sa- vannah, Missouri. He loved the Marines, the St. Louis Cardinals, hunting, fish- ing, bowling, playing slow pitch softball and cutting wood on the farm. As his girls were growing up, he and Linda were ac- tive in coaching their t-ball, softball, soccer and basket- ball teams. He was also a very proud Grandpa know to his grandchildren and many others as Pappy.

He loved doing anything with his grandkids especially teasing them! Rick is survived by: his wife of 37 years, Linda Williams; daughters, Tawni and David Bross, and Megan Morrison; five grandchildren, Benjahmin Williams, Anastashia Williams, Daniel Bross, Tara Bross and Ariella Morrison; his parents, Vir- gil and Betty Williams; brothers, Carey and Tammy Williams, Jeff and Judy Williams; sister, Kim and Randy Bauman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family and friends.
