Robert Sean Bass
Robert Sean Bass, born September 17, 1971, in Houston, Texas, passed away in his hometown on June 27, 2024. He was the beloved son of Ann Lenora Hornbuckle and Carroll Alan Bass and lived his entire life in Houston, Texas. Sean married Laura Burnett on April 26, 2015, and they shared nine years of cherished marriage.
Sean is survived by his loving wife, Laura Burnett, and two brothers, Carroll Alan Bass and Todd Christopher Bass. He worked as a delivery driver for a well-known bakery, where he became a friend to all his customers over the years. Sean was known for his kindness, openness, and warmth towards everyone he met. He had a knack for making strangers feel welcome and cared for.
Sean led a simple yet fulfilling life, deeply loving his wife, Laura. He was a great listener and had a special talent for fostering love and connections among others. Sean had a wonderful sense of humor and was known as the "king of memes" by his family. He enjoyed discussing politics and spending time outdoors, whether playing disc golf or tending to his hobby collection of RC vehicles. He was also a devoted companion to his pet, Kitty Hornbuckle.
A graveside funeral service to celebrate Sean's life will be heldat 10AM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Forest Park Westheimer, located at12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. Prior to the service, we will meet next to the Chapel by the Porte Cochere Drive, followed by a procession to the burial site.
Sean will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, humor, and love will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
