HCD Feel Good Moment in honor of WHM
Donation Drop Off at The Women's Home
We love a good feel-good moment — check it out!
In honor of Womens History Month, HCD staff came together to support The Women’s Home, one of our incredible HOPWA partners dedicated to helping women rebuild their lives through safe housing and support services. From fresh linens to personal hygiene kits, our staff dug deep and donated essentials straight from the heart — all to support women on the journey from homelessness to healing.
Because every act of kindness makes a big difference in the lives of those we serve.
Grand Opening!
RoseMary’s Place
We are proud to announce the recent grand opening of RoseMary’s Place in Midtown Houston, a landmark project by the City of Houston Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) and our dedicated partners. This initiative is not just about building homes but fostering hope and stability for those exiting homelessness.
Named in honor of Rose Mary Badami, whose life's work was devoted to supporting Houston's homeless population, RoseMary’s Place provides 149 efficiency apartments that offer a dignified, supportive living environment to its residents.
