Anant National University launches two new executive training programs: The Tribune India
Anant Center for Sustainability, part of India’s premier design university, Anant National University, Ahmedabad, has launched two new executive training programs delivered through a blended learning model: EIR) . Interested applicants can register for both programs until February 10, 2022. Classes for both programs will start in February 2022.
Anant National University has announced its first certificate course in Designing an Affordable Lifestyle. The one-week course will start on March 4, 2022.
The course offers 30 students the opportunity to start a business that innovates, creates and sells affordable living products. The course offers knowledge of various materials used to design affordable living products, with a deep dive into the properties of laminated corrugated cardboard, a very affordable material. At the end of the course, students are expected to build the prototypes of the products, enhancing learning by integrating theory and practice.
Building on Anant University’s experience in manufacturing laminated corrugated cardboard furniture for 27 COVID-19 hospitals in six Indian states, students will then learn how to position, present and market the product they are making. . Interested students can apply for this program on the university’s website before February 10, 2022.
Along with the certificate program, the university also announced the EIR program, a unique and unique one-year structured support program that invites start-ups and entrepreneurs in the areas of affordable housing, building construction, research, real estate, design and technology. the spaces. Each year, three chosen entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to take advantage of the unique ecosystem provided by the university and its partners.
The program offers the physical infrastructure such as the state-of-the-art manufacturing space, library, workspaces, in-depth industry knowledge and the pool of faculty, researchers and students available at the National University of Anant.
The EIR program has partnered with the Brigade REAP Accelerator to help program entrepreneurs access Brigade’s vast network, ecosystem, and funding options through mentoring sessions and one-on-one workshops.
